Neue Southern PDX
Locally sourced, globally influenced Southern food
A little Neue background:
Meet Lauren + Graham
Your chefs and co-owners
Lauren Zanardelli, a 33-year-old Pittsburgh native, and Graham Foster, a 30-year-old South Carolina native, were classically trained at Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte, NC where they first met in 2011. Following the completion of their classroom culinary education, they moved to NYC in order to continue to grow it - both working in Michelin star rated kitchens.
They opened Neue Southern food truck in Graham's hometown, Greenville, SC, in August 2012, making them one of the very first. Their operation was the impetus for new regulation, helping to clear the path for the mobile businesses that have followed. Since opening their window, they boast serving an ever evolving menu, dedicating themselves to local + sustainable sourcing and natural + organic foods. In addition to the highest-quality products, Lauren and Graham insist on creating everything possible from scratch.
They have relocated to Portland, OR after falling in love with its progressive food scene and cooperative community spirit. While leaving their Southern roots has been bittersweet, they're eager to serve Portlanders authentic/Neue-style Southern food and their favorite global flavors. They'll see you in the window.
